KEEP THE SYSTEM. UPDATE THE CONNECTIVITY.

SIP Trunking & Traditional Telephony

SIP trunking, carrier services and support for existing telephone systems. Wentland connects and modernises business telephony in Switzerland and internationally, with numbering, call routing and service continuity planned together.

MODERNISING EXISTING TELEPHONY

Keep What Works.
Change What Needs To.

SIP trunking can modernise the connection between a compatible business telephone system and the public telephone network without requiring the whole environment to be replaced.

That can mean retaining an existing PBX, replacing legacy line interfaces, introducing a supported gateway or preparing the voice connection for a future platform.

We handle the operator service and the system-side configuration together, including numbering, routing and the dependencies that need to remain in place during the transition.

The aim is not to replace everything. It is to identify what can stay, what should change and how to modernise without disrupting services that still matter.

The connection and everything it depends on

Voice Services

1

Numbers and porting

Review number ranges, registration details and porting eligibility. Prepare the transfer documentation, coordinate dates and track the numbers through to service validation.

2

Capacity and routing

Size the service around expected simultaneous calls and calling patterns. Configure number presentation, routing and agreed restrictions for sites and services.

3

Carrier and connectivity

Provide Swisscom connectivity through our certified partnership and assess international carrier options. Match the operator service to locations, number requirements, contracts and technical constraints.

4

SIP and PBX integration

Configure compatible PBXs, trunks, gateways and SBCs as required. Align number formats, signalling and media settings between the telephone system and operator.

5

Continuity arrangements

Define available rerouting, failover or alternative calling options. Check which failures each option addresses and test the agreed scenarios before relying on them.

6

Administration and support

Maintain agreed numbering and configuration records, handle service changes, investigate calling issues and coordinate the operator work needed to resolve them.

Identify What Still Depends On The Old Lines

SPECIALIST SERVICES AND LEGACY DEPENDENCIES

Identify What Still Depends On The Old Lines

Fax machines, door-entry systems, lift phones, alarms and other specialist equipment may depend on existing telephone lines or interfaces.

We identify these dependencies before lines are cancelled. Compatibility, power requirements and any required replacement or validation are checked with the equipment maintainer and relevant provider.

A successful office phone call does not establish that every connected service is ready to move.

Move the numbers. Verify the service.

Number Transfers

A porting date needs more than a calendar entry. The new service must be ready, the receiving system configured and the people responsible for testing available.

We coordinate the transfer, confirm inbound and outbound calling, and check that each number reaches its intended destination. Contingencies are agreed in advance; they should not depend on an immediate reversal of the number transfer.

Remaining services and contracts are reviewed before cancellation so that retiring the old arrangement does not disconnect something still in use.
